Listed below are some frequently asked questions. If you have a specific question, please feel free to contact us via email, phone, or at your favorite course.

Do I need a tee time to play at the Baltimore County golf courses or can I just walk in?

It is recommended that you reserve a tee time in advance to secure your spot, however, we do try to accommodate walk-ons if the tee sheet allows. It is also recommended to check the event calendar to ensure that there are no events taking place.

We require a minimum of 24 hours advanced notice, but we appreciate as much advanced notice as possible. Guests that no show their reservation may be subject to payment of greens fees or suspension of card memberships. Minimizing the number of no shows, helps us maintain the affordable rates offered to our customers.

I have a non-player who wants to ride along while I play. Do they have to pay a fee?

Guests who are not playing golf, must be at least 11 years of age or older, must sign a waiver and will be charged the applicable cart fee. There are times such as weekends, holidays and times determined by the Head Golf Professional where the non-player will not be able to access the golf course.

Does Baltimore County Golf have a dress code?

The dress code for the courses managed by Baltimore County Revenue Authority reflects the Authority’s emphasis on providing a family oriented atmosphere for all golfers. The required attire includes clothing that has been either manufactured and/or specifically designed to wear on the golf course (recognizing that there can be varying designs and styles within that category of sports/golf clothing). The Authority reserves the right to refuse entry to the golf course to those individuals whose clothing is, in the sole opinion of the manager on duty, inconsistent with our facilities’ family/golf oriented emphasis. Examples of “inappropriate” clothing, relative to the Authority’s stated emphasis, include shirts or shorts with offensive images and/or statements, cut-off or ripped clothing, tank tops, bathing suits, mid-riff blouses/tops, etc. View our full dress code policy here.

Do you have rental club sets available?

All five golf courses offer golf clubs for rent. Please contact the Golf Shop for pricing and availability. Golf shoes are not available for rent; however they are available to be purchased in the Golf Shop.

Overall pace is determined by the day, time and course conditions (cart path only, scatter).

In order to maximize our tee sheet and better accommodate walk-on golfers, the golf course will send off groups in foursomes.

What if I'm late for my tee time?

Groups must check-in at least 15 minutes before their reserved time. The golf course reserves the right to release this time and fill it with other golfers who are on the property. If your group arrives late and has missed the reserved tee time, the staff will do their best to get you onto the golf course. This usually is a realistic possibility and just requires some patience and understanding from your group.

We do require a credit card for all general public reservations due to our cancellation policy. If you are unable to make your tee time, call our golf shop directly at least 24 hours in advance and your card will not be charged.
